Celeste Perez joined Nevada Trust Company in 2025 as a Trust Administrative Assistant. In this role, she supports the trust review process, manages client reporting, and assists senior leadership with day-to-day responsibilities. Ms. Perez brings nearly 10 years of experience in retirement services, management, and customer service, providing expertise and efficiency in all aspects of trust administration. Prior to joining Nevada Trust Company, she held several key roles, including Certified IRA Professional, Customer Service Manager, Corporate Trainer, and IRA Account Manager. Her broad experience and dedication to client service contribute to the firm’s commitment to excellence.
Ms. Hsu is Founder and Principal of Laurea LLC, an advisory firm that provides strategy, fundraising and investor relations consulting services to private equity real estate (PERE) companies. She is a results-oriented investment professional with over 25 years of experience in advisory consulting, investment research, and client management.
Prior to founding Laurea LLC in 2016, Ms. Hsu was Vice President and Head of Client Service Analytics at CIM Group responsible for fundraising, investor relations and due diligence efforts across the firm’s private equity investment platforms. Prior to joining CIM Group, Ms. Hsu was a Director at Cliffwater LLC, an alternative investments consulting firm and led its due diligence and research efforts of private equity real estate managers and investment offerings. Previously, she was a Director at BlackRock responsible for account management and investment strategy for U.S. and Non-U.S. insurance clients and an Associate Director at MetLife’s Investments Department with portfolio management responsibilities. Ms. Hsu began her career as an Associate in the Pension Consulting Division at Wilshire Associates.
Ms. Hsu received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles, Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, and holds the Women in Leadership certificate from Cornell University. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Nevada Trust Company, as Senior Advisor to various PERE firms, and on the Advisory Board of Alpaca Real Estate.

Mr. Thorson has a consulting practice, David Thorson Consulting, which focuses on providing executive management services to small and medium-sized companies. Previously he was Director of Operations for the West Region at the United Service Organizations (USO) overseeing military support services in 9 western states assisting over 1 million service members and their families. Previously he managed the Nevada operations for the USO as Center Director where he was responsible for operations and fundraising activities. Prior to joining the USO in 2017, Mr. Thorson was a Vice President with Nevada Trust Company responsible for financial and business development efforts. He also held management and executive roles at Ford Motor Company and Hewlett-Packard, respectively, as well as executive positions with three technology start-up companies in operations, finance, marketing and sales. He has lived or worked in 7 different countries throughout his career.
Mr. Thorson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Arizona, Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and Master of Business Administration degree from Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE) in Spain. He has served as President of the Las Vegas Rotary Club, Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 5300, and Trustee of the Verde Valley School in Sedona, AZ.
Jaclyn Ford-Grella joined Nevada Trust Company in 2018 and serves as a Business Development and Trust Officer. In her role, she manages the day-to-day administration of trust accounts, oversees client reporting, and provides exceptional relationship management as a primary liaison for Nevada Trust Company clients. Jaclyn works closely with senior leadership to advance the firm’s business development strategies and support the continued growth of its services.
With nearly 25 years of experience across operations, wealth management, trust, and retirement services, Jaclyn brings a deep understanding of client needs and financial administration. Prior to joining Nevada Trust Company, she served in several key positions—including Director of Operations, IRA Specialist, and Director of Client Services—within respected wealth management and benefit services organizations. Throughout her career, she has built a strong track record of operational excellence and client-focused service, consistently helping individuals and families protect and manage their financial futures.
Mr. Kingman joined Nevada Trust Company in 2004. He is primarily responsible for the day-to-day relationship management of the firm’s retirement accounts and ensures client inquiries, requests, and communications are addressed timely and accurately. Mr. Kingman also collaborates with other team members to support NTC’s marketing and new business development efforts. He maintains existing and develops new relationships with local financial institutions, prospective clients, and industry partners. Prior to his current role, Mr. Kingman held various positions with the firm and has been integral in improving process efficiencies and the administration of trust operations.

Mr. James M. Kriss joined Nevada Trust Company in 2004 and currently serves as Vice President, responsible for the management and administration of a wide range of trust accounts. His areas of expertise include trust administration, client reporting, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Kriss is an active member of the Firm’s Trust Investment Committee and Trust Administrative Committee, ensuring that oversight, investment governance, and fiduciary standards remain at the highest level. In addition, he serves as Corporate Secretary of Nevada Trust Company.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the trust and banking industry, Mr. Kriss brings a strong foundation in operational excellence and client service. Prior to joining Nevada Trust Company, he spent seven years with Wells Fargo as a Trust Administrator, where he managed more than 500 trust accounts across multiple Western U.S. states. He began his financial services career at First Interstate Bank, initially as a Teller before earning promotion to Assistant Manager, supervising teller operations, training, reporting, and audit functions.
Mr. Kriss holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association.
Mr. Joseph G. Mazon joined Nevada Trust Company in 2017 and currently serves as President, Treasurer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In his leadership role, he provides strategic oversight of investment management, research, product offerings, operations, treasury functions, and client relationships. Mr. Mazon also drives the firm’s business development initiatives and is dedicated to creating exceptional client experiences through proactive, goal-oriented engagement.
With more than 35 years of investment and portfolio management experience, Mr. Mazon brings a deep understanding of financial markets and institutional strategy. Before joining Nevada Trust Company, he was the Founder and Managing Partner of Conexus Partners, a private equity firm specializing in agricultural, ranch, and timberland investments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mazon spent two decades with MetLife, where he held multiple senior roles, including Head of Institutional Solutions Group, Head of Investment Grade Trading, and Senior Portfolio Manager overseeing more than $300 billion in assets. He began his career at CIGNA as a Trader and Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Mazon earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Finance and Marketing from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA in Investment Finance from the University of Hartford. Beyond his professional achievements, he is deeply committed to conservation and community service, serving on several committees for Ducks Unlimited in both the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, he is the volunteer Chairman of the USO Local Advisory Council supporting active-duty service members and military families across Nevada, Utah, and Arizona.
Mr. Peter H. Kingman founded Nevada Trust Company in 1995 and served as its President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for thirty years. Under his leadership, Nevada Trust Company evolved from a boutique fiduciary firm into a recognized leader in asset protection trusts, self-directed retirement services, and wealth management solutions for both U.S. and international clients. Mr. Kingman now holds the honorary title of President Emeritus in recognition of his distinguished service and lasting contributions to the firm’s success.
